Gospel of Mark

In the summer of 2009 I quit my public ministry because the Bible says that you should not teach publicly if your house is not in order.

And my house wasn’t. My adopted daughter was violently unstable.

I had begun to look at my life as though it were a ship on fire. I kept chunking things overboard hoping it would not sink.

This was utter surrender. This was pushing the last barrel into the water.

Or so I thought, until things got worse…

For three years now I have felt I had unfinished business–the gospel of Mark.

Going back
A different woman than before
