Most people don’t get notice that they are going to lose their child. But then most don’t foster either.

The afternoon of November 12th, 1998 is as clear to me now as it was then.

They brought you home asleep. You had met your new parents for two hours. They were rushing the placement because they knew that a law was about to get signed…
